An engaging and comprehensive workshop focusing on diversity, equality, and inclusion in the workplace, illustrated through an original short film and the unique voices of our young people. Our aim is to lift the veil on what unconscious bias is and how to navigate it, to encourage a culture of respect, understanding and collaboration.

During the workshop, we’ll watch an entertaining and thought-provoking twenty minute short film created by The Big House, ‘Dickheads Matter’. The film explores themes of unconscious bias, the assumptions we can make about each other and the unexpected places where different lives can intertwine. This is followed by a curated group discussion with an experienced facilitator and a panel of our young people, who will bring insight into their own invaluable lived experiences of these issues.

The film was so moving and powerful and your words have given me so much to think about. This has been one of my favourite talks to listen to and has inspired me to support care experienced young people to more than the expectations of the system and learn more about the different opportunities that are available to them.
